DMCA / Copyright Policy

We respect the work of photographers, designers, illustrators, and writers. This page explains how we source images for The Vista Decor and what to do if you believe your copyrighted work appears on our site without proper permission. Contact: contact@thevistadecor.com.

Our Commitment to Creators

Beautiful rooms deserve beautiful photography — and the people behind that photography deserve credit and respect. We make a genuine effort to use every image lawfully and to credit creators properly.

How We Source Images

Images on The Vista Decor come from the following sources: original graphics and illustrations created by us; licensed stock photography from reputable stock libraries (such as Pexels and similar services), used under their license terms; brand, product, or press images provided by retailers or brands for editorial use, or used with permission; reader-submitted photos, published only with the sender’s permission; and images in the public domain or released under Creative Commons licenses, used according to their license terms with attribution where required.

Attribution

Where a license or our own standards call for it, we credit the photographer or source alongside the image or in the article. If you spot an image of yours that we have credited incorrectly — or not at all — please tell us and we will fix it promptly.

If We Made a Mistake

We are human. If an image appears on our site that should not be there, or a credit is missing or wrong, we want to make it right quickly. Before filing a formal legal notice, we kindly ask you to email us first — most issues are resolved within 48 hours.

Options for Rights Holders

If you are the rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and you believe your work is used on our site without authorization, you may request any of the following: add or correct the credit and link to your portfolio or site; modify how the image is displayed; or remove the image entirely. Email contact@thevistadecor.com with the details below, and we will respond as quickly as we can — our aim is within 48 hours on business days.

What to Include in Your Request

To help us act quickly, please include: your name and contact information, and your relationship to the work; the exact URL(s) of the page(s) where the image appears; a description or screenshot of the image in question; proof that you own or are authorized to act for the copyright (for example, a link to the original publication); and the resolution you prefer: credit fix, display change, or removal.

Formal DMCA Notices

If you prefer to submit a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. Section 512), your notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the infringing material and its location (URL); your contact information (address, telephone number, email); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. Send formal notices to contact@thevistadecor.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”.

Counter-Notices

If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including your contact information, identification of the removed material, a consent to jurisdiction statement, and your signature, as provided under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g).

Repeat Infringers

We respect intellectual property and expect our readers to do the same. Accounts or contributors who repeatedly post infringing material (for example, in comments) may have their submissions removed and access restricted.
