Well, hello!

I’m Maya Bennett — the friend who will rearrange your furniture the second you leave the room. My own decorating education started in my first little flat: I stood in the middle of my own empty living room and realised I had no idea what I actually liked. Funny how that works.

So I built the blog I couldn’t find. The Vista Decor is where I share real room ideas, honest budget breakdowns, and everything the decor industry never bothered to tell women setting up their first real home. No rules about what’s “too trendy” or “too plain” for you.

No pretending a beautiful home needs a big budget. Just genuinely useful decor help from someone who’s standing right where you are.
